Behind The Lens is held for the 3^rd time in Chilla Cup Subang Avenue! The guest speakers for this round are Matt Marzuki and Paul Kong with interviewer Johan Sopiee.
 
Let have a glance what’s happened during the night.
 

We started off the night with Matt Marzuki who specialized in Commercial Photography. Matt experience encompasses corporate shoots, annual dinner events, private commissioned portraits and product shoots as well as occasional wedding events.

Paul Kong interview session - As an artistic wedding photographer, Paul Kong is masterful in evoking pure emotions in every shot. His spontaneous, state-of-the-art photojournalistic approach draws upon a storytelling experience that creates a portfolio of loving, fun-filled images. Paul’s work has been featured on select international wedding blogs in 2011 & 2012. His career highlights also include an exceptional result of 11 Bronze Awards, out of 11 submissions (2011) & another 9 Bronze Awards out of 9 submissions (2012) in the highly competitive wedding category of the Creative Asia Photography Competition. Simplicity and purity expressed with a hint of artistry, this is how he believe wedding day photography should be.

 

One of the highlight of the night, the guest speakers are required to take a photo for each other. This demonstrates their photography skill with different illustration of angle and tactic.

Behind The Lens @ Chilla Cup Subang Avenue

Chilla Cup Subang Avenue, the venue sponsor for Behind The Lens (BTL) have welcomed many guests who are professional photographers, amateurs or people who is simply interested to know more about photography art. Organized and hosted by Peter Tan, BTL is a Live interview series featuring professional photographers and their masterpiece.

On 5th May, 2 distinguished guests, Iskandar Ibrahim and Steve Tan are invited as the guest speakers to share their insights and how they finish their masterpieces using their own unique blend post-production magic.

Each of them were given an Olympus E-P5 with several superb prime ZUIKO lenses (yes that's the latest PEN from Olympus) to shoot with, one week ago! They are sharing the photos during the night!

Let’s share some of my favourite dishes with you.

Homemade Chicken Burger

Recommended by the chef, the chicken burger is topped with a generous amount of mushroom. The bread is produced by Chilla Cup too! It’s Focaccia bread, something different from the usual bun we see.

 

Carbonara Fettucinne

This is Carbonara Fettuccine, according to the Menu book, it reads ‘Traditional prepared with sautee onion, garlic, mushroom, double cream topped with parmesan cheese’

 

Chicken Pie

Looking for something light for lunch? Chilla Cup’s chicken is a good choice. Served with a side of green salad and fries, this delicious pie will definitely brighten up your day.

 

Triple Decker Sandwiches

Chilla Cup’s Triple Decker Sandwiches is also a very good choice. Between the breads, there’s chicken breast, egg and chicken ham that come along with side of green salad and fries.

 

Volcano Roasted Chicken

Some Malaysians (or I should say most) prefer a rice dish. I would recommend the Volcano Roasted Chicken. The chicken is marinated with exclusive Chilla Cup recipe for 24 hours and slowly baked reaching aromatic. Perfect match with Cardamom rice.
