We are all fortunate to be in Malaysia due to its’ wide variety of people around here. With more cultures and customs to immerse oneself in, it can only mean more celebrations! Everyone here celebrates every type of celebrations and now it’s time for the Ramadan month where our Muslim friends are fasting.

At Chilla Cup, we always like to go one step further and not only are we celebrating the major festivals in Malaysia, we celebrate International Days as well! Terms and Conditions:

1. The Winner list including the consolation prize winner will be published in Chilla Cup Facebook page on 9 August 2012 onwards. After the winners list is published, the winner’s are responsible to contact Chilla Cup by email or personal message for the redemption details within 3 days.

2. It’s the participant’s responsible to ensure that the contact details and email address  submitted are valid.

3. Only one entry per person is allowed and multiple entries will result in an  entrant being disqualified.

4. If any winners cannot be contacted by any means stated above, the prize may declared void and no replacement or substitute prizes will be provided.

Brewing the perfect cup

Ever wonder how this perfect cup of latte is prepared?

Like all great things in life, it takes preparation and practice to perfect the art of handcrafting our signature blend of coffee. Let us bring you a sneak peek of behind-the-curtain scenes into perfecting this art.

Tony Tang is a name which is well known among the top notch baristas. Being one of the judge in an International Barista Competition and a coffee bean supplier as well as a coffee roaster, this lass from Singapore flew all the way down to our branch @ Setiawalk, Puchong to train our new line of baristas into preparing a perfect cup ofcoffee for you.

Sharing basic knowledge about coffee and identifying fresh coffee beans.

This training enables our barista to know how to select the freshest coffee bean, extract a good shot of espresso, frothing the milk perfectly, mixing it well to give an aromatic cup of coffee and finish it off with a nice coffee art. Also, not forgetting the cleaning, maintenance and calibrating of the coffee machine daily to provide a constant quality of coffee to you.

It’s practical time!

This training took around 1 to 2 days to complete and after proper demonstration, it’s time for some art creation!

And the expressway towards honing this craft is to let the baristas try their own brew! If we don’t love it, we won’t serve it to you. That’s our promise.

Each of our baristas needs to pass the test for this training and there will be a revision course every 3 to 4 months time to ensure that our coffee quality is top notch at all time.

In line with our rebranding exercise to serve you better, we are introducing the Quarterly Special which is in effect from July to September 2012. Everyone loves variety when it comes to food and we give you extra reasons to come back for our coffee. Each quarter, we are going to introduce new food menus that will definitely satisfy your taste buds.

Chilla Cup Guess The Beans Contest Finale!

782, 783, 784, …..

The tension is building. Some dreams are shattered while some dreams are still a far, far distance away. Some are secretly hoping that the count will end soon. How about your guess?

The venue is ready for the Guess the Beans Counting Session.

The media personnel have arrived right on the dot @ 3.30pm to witness Chilla Cup ‘Guess the Beans’ counting session. During the period of 18^th to 29^th June 2012, we have launched this contest with a single inspiration – to create the awareness of our signature blend coffee which is on par with the finest coffee in the region. Therefore, 5 winners that have guessed the most accurately will be complimented with 10 regular handcrafted premium coffees.

If you are the winner, it is a perfect opportunity for sharing with friends of the finer things in life. But, if you were to indulge it alone over 10 times, we wouldn’t blame you for surrendering to the temptations; just remember to gloat to your friends afterwards. Our coffee is that good.
